Welcome to our Fine Arts Networking dinner group.

This is kind of a woking site built for communication in our group.

We are mostly Alumna of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA, meeting in Washingtion, DC as part of the Carnegie Mellon University Alumni DC Chapter. And we are all FANs of the Arts. Some of us are artists of one kind or another, beginning, returning, or actively pursuing careers in the arts, and some are not in the arts at all, but also love the arts, as well as enjoy getting to know artists.

The one thing that draws us together is the spirit of the arts, the devotion to our work, and the camaraderie of sharing ideas. We don’t have dues, or rules to go by, we just pay for our own dinner! We meet, talk, sometimes enjoy seeing each other’s work, and we help each other when we can. It is a great place for young artists / new grads as well, as well as established professionals, and anyone in between.

We meet on the 4th Thursday of most months, at 7 p.m. at a DC restaurant near a Metro. (That’s as consistent as we can be!) So visit here often and always check out the www.cmu.edu hit alumni, go to Upcoming Events > Option 2 Washington DC…Then look for our event. Payments made, if any, and all event signups are done on the main university site .
